Reese loves taking pictures! Now she has a camera of her own! :)Jennifer and I took Reese to Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs the first week in Dec. Reese said "I'm in winter wonderland"! She was just taken by the beauty of the lights! It is beautiful. Go right at dark before "the crowd" gets there. We had been shopping all day, so needless to say, she was asleep by the time we got home! It really got her in the Christmas mood and she has been singing Christmas carols all month!
I can hardly believe Reese just celebrated her 3rd birthday! Is time going by that fast for you or is it just me? Her Mommy and Daddy had such a fun birthday party for her. Her little cousins, Katie and Merrie Leigh, grandmothers, granddaddys, aunts, uncles, etc. came to celebrate with her. She's been to birthday parties all year so she knew what it was all about. She was so excited!
Jennifer and Curtis took her to see Santa in Memphis at the Enchanted Forest. She told him that she wants a baby doll, a basket and a bottle! Where will she put another baby? She's competing with the Duggars! (they just had their 18th)! Last year all she wanted was a red ball. What a difference a year makes! Just wait til she gets to be a teenager! I can't wait to go over on Christmas morning to see what Santa brought her! I know how blessed we are to be able to live close by and make so many memories with our family. I always make cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning. It has become the smell of Christmas at our house!
Bonnie and Scotty don't have a little one but they sure do have alot of fun with Reese. She gets all of their attention! Don't read this part Bonnie, but, I think we need some more Hosey grandchildren! Y'all are going to let Reese get spoiled!
We do have another family member though! Jamie, Wesley and Elizabeth welcomed Calvin Charles on Reese's birthday, Dec 16th! Another one for Memother and Granddaddy to spoil! He is beautiful!
Gene and I are spending some time in Hot Springs. We finished up some Christmas shopping and visited Steve, E.J.'s friend and Megan in Little Rock.
I hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS and REMEMBER THOSE IN YOUR FAMILY AND OURS WHO ARE NO LONGER WITH US !!!

What an incredible birthday setting! Where did Jen do her party? Wherever it was, she did a splendid job -- what fun for a precious three year old princess :) I was supposed to go to GG with Jackie but didn't make it -- maybe we can all go next year. Enjoy your weekend in Hot Springs and be looking for your cute Christmas card from me. I love it! Love you, Phyllis
