It's hot enough to pop a firecracker in Marvell! We did get a much needed rain this afternoon. Gene said we got a little over an inch. Maybe it will cool off a little. Our air conditioner in the den went out today and it was over 80 degrees! The front of the house is cool so we can at least get out of the heat. Jen went to Playa del Carmen, Mexico with girlfriends from college today. I know they will get some much needed girl time and rest. Curtis loves to be with Reese so he will keep her except when he's working. Nana, Poppy, Granddaddy and I will get some extra time with her since she won't be at daycare. Yea! Bonnie and Scotty were in Hot Springs last week. They celebrated their 6th anniversary on July 27th and Scotty celebrated his birthday yesterday. She stays busy sewing, embroidering (and working of course). Before Jennifer left, she and Reese played with her doll house. Reese has a big imagination when she plays with her dolls. She even answers for them! Keep cool this week!!
